Abstract
The developed synthetic oligonucleotide primers 12F-12R, and 83F-83R to detect DNA fragments unique to the Lactococcus lactis subspecies cremoris and Lactococcus lactis subspecies lactis possess specificity and allow differentiation to the subspecies strains and cultures Lactococcus lactis, starter cultures used in the manufacture of dairy products .
