Abstract
Pyrimethamine resistance production in embryonal lung Bos taurus cell culture (LEK) interfered with endodyogenie
and resulted in the formation of multinucleated endozoite stages. Our virulence in vitro and in
vivo assay suggest that as drug resistance increased the virulence in mice and cell system decreased.
Some gradation between Toxoplasma sensibility and resistance permitted us to elaborate different models
of Toxoplasma persistence: slow», chronic and latent infection.
