STAPHYLOCOCCUS INTERMEDIUS ГРУППА (SIG): ТАКСОНОМИЧЕСКИЕ ИЗМЕНЕНИЯ И ЭКОЛОГИЯ
Аннотация
Staphylococcus pseudintermedius является основным возбудителем стафилококковых заболеваний у домашних животных. В связи с недавними таксономическими изменениями изоляты, выделенные от собак и ранее описанные как S. intermedius должны быть в настоящее время переименованы в S. pseudintermedius. Данный стафилококк был выделен в отдельный вид из близкородственных ему видов Staphylococcus intermedius и Staphylococcus delphini преимущественно методом ДНК-ДНК гибридизации. Эти три вида были объединены в S. intermedius группу (SIG), так как дифференцировать их с помощью фенотипических методов очень сложно. Точная идентификация видов SIG должна подтверждаться молекулярными тестами.
