The serological investigations of 7 large dairy farms in serum neutralization test with use as an antigene
strains of two subgenotypes of a virus belonging to first genotype have revealed presence of antibodies to

shown to change the proliferation activity. Expression of genes IFN-?? and IFN-?? in MDCK cells was

Macro- and micromorphological indexes of gastrointestinal tract organs of hens belonging to egg -
producing breed Lomann Brown of the age from 1 to 520 days were studied in three groups: the first
group was kept under normal conditions, the second group was given inorganic Sodium Selenite and the
third group was given organic diacetophenonilselenide at the dose level of 0.3 mg evaluated in elementary
Selenium per 1 kg of live weight. The final formation of hens gastrointestinal tract organs (weight and
length) occurs by 150th day after the birth, but the histological indexes of the investigated organs (indexes
of membrane thickness) continue to change. These changes are influenced by the birds age, ration and
individual features. The studied preparations increase the growth rate of organs, influence positively their
macro- and micromorphological structure. Diacetophenonilselenide has higher positive influence in poultry
feeding than Sodium Selenite. Considering the question of gastrointestinal tract organs of hens belonging to
egg - producing breeds in the age aspect it is possible to distinguish three stages of development: the stage
of intensive growth, the stage of moderate growth, the stage of minimum growth.

Abstract
In the article there are some facts about the influence of timogen on the bone reparative regeneration after
oblique fractures. This medication was used after the intramedullary osteosynthesis in combination with two
circularly bandaged constringent bands having confined contact with the bone tissue. Timogen application
contributed to the rehabilitation of the support function of the operated dogs five days earlier (on average) in
comparison with the dogs not being tested with this medication.
